This hostel was really great for the money. People say it is not a great location, but that depends on what you plan to do in Barcelona. The hostel is pretty close (10 minute walk) to the metro station, and from there you can get to anywhere else in the city. If you are going to do all the touristy things then maybe find a hostel closer to La Rambla, but if you are just enjoying the city, then this hostel is fine. The only thing I would suggest is looking up the location on Google Maps first, because the directions on the website are a little vague and it is easy to get turned around at first. The staff were friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. The hostel itself is pretty clean (for a hostel) and safe for the most part, just make sure to take anything valuable with you because the lockers are okay for clothes, but won't keep someone out if they really want to steal something. So overall a great hostel experience, and I would recommend it!
