Barcelona is well known for its nightlife, wide offer, trendy and fashion, sometimes wild and definitely open minded, always seeking fresh and innovative proposals. Like other big cities, every area in Barcelona has its own personality.

The Gotic Quarter. At night the Barcelona old quarter streets take on a special charm coming from the orange glow of its streetlights. The Plaza Real is the epicenter's nightlife, plenty of clubs hosting live bands and artists, often free entrance and bars for all trends. Tea shops -Psalter- and traditional pubs door-to-door with designer and fashionable restaurants and bars -QBar, decorated with Louis XV-style furniture. The Manchester, a classic in the city, a bar where you'll only listen to Manchester bands music. You'll find in this area some of the main live jazz music clubs of the city -Jamboree-.
L'Eixample. Barcelona young and not so young people flood the streets of the Eixample on weekends. Bars and nightclubs with all styles and ages music, restaurants with all types of cuisine welcome students, stag parties, and groups of friends. It is divided in two sides, at night completely different, but rather close.
The Esquerra Eixample (Left Eixample), with emblematic bars of Barcelona. This Eixample area is also known as the Gaixample, because of the great offer for the gay community. Some popular bars among gay public are Sweet Café and Átame, having music influences of Madrid's nightlife.
The Dreta de l'Eixample (Right Eixample) route could start at the Zinc Bar, a space that belongs to the Hotel Villa Emilia. Concerts scheduled on weekend nights at the lobby piano bar. A magnificent terrace during the summer nights with stunning views of the city of Barcelona. You could also have a drink at The Terminal B, a bar that successfully combines live performances and exhibitions.
Puerto Olimpico. The Olimpic Harbor is one of the main tourist areas of Barcelona's nightlife. You'll find there cool, sophisticated and stylish people with brand clothing. English is normally spoken by waiters. The Mediterranean sea is the main character in this busy nightlife area of the city. The twin towers are the main entrance to a world of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and even a casino. Lively seaside to enjoy the night with intensity.
The Zona Alta - Sarria Sant Gervasi Quarter. Sophisticated, cool and always stylish people are found in this area. Santaló & Mariano Cubí Streets are full of bars and clubs are often decorated with exquisite design. Luz de Gas is one of the clubs with more history in Barcelona. Earlier concerts are scheduled for all musical styles and in the evening usually ends with a session of commercial electronic music.
