Hostel One Puerta Del Sol is a small hostel with the perfect atmosphere to meet people.

Location is ideal, half a block from the Main Square (Puerta Del Sol), we're on Madrid's most typical tapas bar street (la Victoria), where you'll find the best restaurants, bars and nightclubs in town. It's the place to go if you want to enjoy paella, tapas, a good glass of sangria or many other Spanish specialties. Within walking distance to most Madrid sightseeing spots.
There's a small guest kitchen for you to make free use of it and there's a supermarket a block away from the hostel, so you're going to be able to save some money in case you want to.
There is a common area equipped with a flat TV, DVD player with an expense DVD library, guide books for both here and future destinations as well as a book exchange. A great place to meet new friends and relax after time spent away from the hostel.
There are computers with free internet access (Wi-Fi as well) that will help you keep in touch and plan your future trips.
Brand new mattresses with clean linen provided free of charge. There are lockers inside each room for your security and towels and laundry are available for a small fee.

Directions
Once you arrive at the airport take the metro (Pink line 8, direction Nuevos Ministerios) get off in Nuevos Ministerios where you will need to transfer to renfe cercanias. Take a train in cercanias to sol (is only one stop).
When arriving by train (metro Atocha or Chamartin) take the blue line (1) to Sol.
If you arrive by bus (Avenida America metro stop) take the grey line (6) to Cuatro caminos, there you get the light blue line (1) to SOL. There is when you get off.
If you arrive at the south bus stop, (metro Mendez Alvaro) catch the grey line (6)(its a circular line)upto Pacifico where you must switch to the light blue line (1) in the direction of Pinar de Chamartin and get off at the Sol metro stop.
When you arrive to the Sol metro station, take exit (salida) for 'Carretas.' When you exit, Puerta del Sol will be on your right hand side, turn 180º where you will see a large building with a neon sign that says 'Tio Pepe'. Walk straight ahead into Calle San Jeronimo and take the third street to the right (Calle de la Victoria). On the corner you will find a Dunkin' Coffee. The first door on the right is our main entrance. We are situated on the first floor.
