Nightlife

San Sebastian has basically three nightlife areas, each of them having a different identity.

The most popular is the Parte Vieja -The Old Town-, a quarter that never seems to sleep. A labyrinth full of bars, sidrerias and clubs. Different young people groups of all ages and condiction are normally seen at the Parte Vieja. Many of them go to the clubs of La Concha area when the Parte Vieja's bars are closed.

The area of La Concha bay has several clubs for all  young people, but those clubs, bars and discos are considered really expensive. Especially the clubs in the building of the Real Club Náutico de San Sebastián, near the thermal resort of La Perla, that normally host the celebrations of the International Film Festival.

Other nightlife options include the cafe located in the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, a disco on the edge of the Zurriola beach or the bars above the center of the city on the surroundings of the Cathedral. The Reyes Católicos street, located in the back of the Cathedral offers a chic air,  with modern and trendy design bars and clubs.

And finally, if you look for a relaxed and intimate environment, we suggest you to visit the bars located at the young quarter of Gros.
