We are two backpackers and we love to travel, as you do. We have traveled around the world and really appreciate the hospitality and good service, and this is what we offer.

We love backpackers and we want to enjoy your stay in San Sebastian. We organize excursions to surf, (come on van and we show you the best places in the Basque coast). These excursions "surfers" are also organized to go to the coasts of southern France. We take you to the best places in town where you can try the typical Basque cuisine, drink the best cider and hear the best music. We're always open to new possibilities.

However, you should notice that this is not a party property and you are expected to respect the neighbors and your room mates!

We also offer rent surfboard short, long boards and wetsuit€15 per day and surf lessons€10, and other activities like yoga lessons (with Sauna included€15), connection to rent tennis court.

We also offer bicycles, tour guides, and other activities.

Free Internet. In the rooms and the lounge is Wi-Fi Internet access. Anyway, we have a computer available to guests.

Room description / How many, types, information, facilites?

Location / Whats nearby / local attractions?

It is located in most emblematic place of San Sebastian, in the Plaza de la Constitucion, the old bullfighting ring. It is in the middle of the Old Town next to the best bars and restaurants as well as the museums. A 2 minute walk takes you to La Concha beach and Zurriola beach, the surfers' beach.

Directions

The public transportation is very close to the hostel:

* City bus: Lines 26 and 28. Connections to other lines.
* Renfe Train Station is within 15/20 minutes walking to the hostel..
By bus:
Well linked to Spanish major cities.

Take Continental Company to go from Madrid, La Roncalesa from Pamplona, Pesa from Bilbao. It is also linked with London (Euro Lines company, 22 hours including the time for the Dover-Calais ferry), an inexpensive way to go to San Sebastian.

By car:
From Madrid take N-I (National One) road, via Burgos and Vitoria-Gasteiz; alternatives to this road: take toll road between Burgos and Mirand de Ebro, and take another toll road from Vitoria up to Durango (direction Bilbo/Bilbao). About 5 hours.

From Bilbao take A-8 toll road (expensive, about 10 Euros) to reach San Sebastian in one hour, or take the national road (2 or 3 hours, depending on the traffic). If you are not in a hurry I can suggest you to take the national road to visit different towns and villages in the Basque coast (Orio, Zarautz, Zumaia, Getaria, Mutriku, Ondarroa, Lekeitio, Gernika, etc).

From Pamplona take A-15 and N-I to reach San Sebastian. It is just 45 minutes-1 hour.
From Paris take A-10 toll road till the border (via Orleans, Tours, Poitiers, Bordeaux) and A-8 toll road from the border to San Sebastian. Not paying alternatives are N-10 in France and N-I crossing the border once.

Helpful guy who runs it with lots of useful info. Kitchen, free lockers, towels, comfy beds and duvets. Only 2 bathrooms which can mean queues if everyone gets up at the same time. Nice and cheap and cheerful though so would definitely recommend it. Not a party hostel so don't stay here if you're looking for that. Great place to spend a few nights though.
