‘Hilux Hostel’ is located in the heart of Valencia, at ‘Barrio El Carmen’. It is the perfect place to stay and make the most of your stay at Valencia, just a few minutes away from the train, metro and bus stations and a short ride from the airport, which means you will be unpacked and ready for your first day in no time! Each of our spacious balconied rooms is decorated with the contributions of imaginative local artists.
We have just Double or Twin rooms and 4 beds Dorm so you will never feel crowded.
Our warm and friendly staff (24h reception) will always have plenty of time for a chat in the cool and colorful lounge or offer you advice about the best info about restaurants, bars and diverse nightlife that Valencia has to offer.

**Please note that for Fallas we require a minimum 5 days booking from 15/03/2010 till 19/03/2010 inclusive. After the booking at the end of December or first days of January we will charge the full amount to your credit card. Cancellations will be accepted until 28/02/2010 after that, no refunds will be given.

Instructions from the train station (Valencia Nord) (1)
Please walk straight out of the train station towards the ‘Plaza Ayuntamiento’ (a big square with a fountain on it). Walk past the fountain (leaving it on your right hand side) until you get to the end of the square (you will see a Citibank in the corner). Here, the road splits in four and you need to take the ‘Avenida Maria Cristina’, ‘La Lonja’ direction. Walk passes ‘La Lonja Building’ (walk in this side of the avenue) and turn right at ‘En Colom Street’ and then turn left in ‘Calle Danzas’. In the first corner of this street you will find ‘Calle Cadirers’. You are in the corner of the hostel! It is just 10 minutes from the train station by walking!
Direction from the bus station:
Walk straight out of the bus station. Take the bus no 8 and get off at ‘Plaza de la Reina’ (it only takes 5 minutes). From here follow the instruction from Plaza de la Reina. If you are 2 or more people, the cost of a taxi to the hostel is almost the same of the bus! (3 or 4 euros)
Direction from ‘Plaza de la Reina’:
Look for the only big fast food place and walk into that street (Calle Corregeria). Follow this street until it ends. Turn right and take the first street, turn left. You are in ‘Calle Cadirers’ now. Follow this street until you see our Hostel, which will be on your left. Welcome to Hilux Valencia!
Directions from the airport:
- Metro (the best way): Inside the airport, find the “Metro” sign (it is in the new part of the airport). In only 20 minutes you will be in the center of the city, in the train station. It cost 1.70 euros. From here follow the instructions from the train station. (1)
- Aero bus:
Walk straight out of the airport and find the “Aerobus” stop (it is in the Arrivals way out). You will find a time table (you have to take the blue bus). It costs 2.50 euros. Get off in ‘Calle Bailén’ (the last stop). You are at the back of the train station. Walk into ‘Calle Bailen’ to the front of the station (Calle Xativa) and from there follow the instructions from the train station. (1)
- Taxi: No matter what time your plane lands at Valencia airport, take at taxi to the hostel at the main exit of the airport. It will cost 15 euros approximately as they charge airport tax. It is 15-20 minutes.
