We are located in the heart of Valencia’s city center, in a quiet street near the river Turia (the biggest green area in the city) and just a few minutes walk from the city’s most interesting cultural and architectural sights (Cathedral, Basilic, Plaza de la Reina, City Council Square, Barrio del Carmen). We are well connected to the beach, the train station, the old city; the city of arts and sciences.

We are close to the best places to go out, from traditional tapas bars to the hippest nightlife. We are in the middle of a characteristic area of the town, between the commercial area and the bohemian el Carmen district.

Room description / How many, types, information, facilites?

We have dorms with 4, 6, 8 and 10 beds and private rooms of 2, 3 and 4. All our rooms are dorms: male, female or mixed. Big, clean, communal (single sex) bathrooms are located on each floor. Check out time is at 11:00 a.m. and check in is anytime after 13:00 p.m. Note that air conditioning in the rooms will be on only in the night. Our hostel has an easy, laidback atmosphere with warm and helpful staff on hand to help steer you to the beaches, bars, sites and sounds of Valencia. We will also get you anything you need including free city maps, and information and reservations for walking tours and bike rental. Our bar offers you the chance to meet people from all over the world, have a couple of the cheapest pints in town, and enjoy the great atmosphere that the Valencia night produces. The Purple Nest Youth Hostel is a new and friendly hostel inspired by our experiences of traveling around the world as backpackers like you. We hope you’ll find a comfortable and sociable atmosphere where you can discover our Valencia culture as you please. If we happen to be full, why not check our sister Hostel Nest in La Paz, which can also be found here in HostelBookers. I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was very helpful and I felt quite comfortable. I didn´t really come to meet people because I only stayed in Valencia for one night, but everyone was very friendly and I met some great people, staff included.
